Donna Cummings

Hi! My name is Donna Cummings, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC), in South Carolina. I have held been in practice for over 8 years. Before becoming an LPC, I worked with youth ages 3-21 who had difficulties with attending school, anger management, and other life difficulties. I also worked with families to facilitate a change in negative interactions in the home setting. I have worked with different populations to address anxiety, depression, substance use, domestic violence, and relationship concerns. I believe that having a balanced life with a focus on our physical, mental, social, and professional self-care is the basis for a happy and healthy life. I love to work with people of all ages and backgrounds, providing culturally appropriate resources to address their concerns. As a Native American, I understand difference in home, community, and social settings that can affect our mental health needs. I want to work with clients and assist them in moving forward adjusting and alleviating concerns they have with daily life activities, to assist them in moving forward and reaching their life goals.
