Nancy Winston

Nancy Winston is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Nancy was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. Nancy completed her undergraduate degree at Claflin University and her Masters degree from Webster University. Taking the first step is the hardest when making changes in your life, even when you know it is what is needed. Nancy has been providing therapy for 18 years to children, teens, adults, families, and couples. Services have been provided at Mental Health Centers, Family Preservation providing intensive in-home services, Child Advocacy Center, Boys Juvenile Justice Center, University Counseling Center and Private Practice. Nancy's continued training has afforded her the ability to treat symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, trauma (physical and sexual abuse, domestic violence),grief, depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, anger management, family conflicts, low self-esteem, transitioning into adulthood, self-harming symptoms and marital issues. Nancy is trained to provide CBT, TF-CBT, Mindfulness , Clinical Counseling Gestalt, Behavior Therapy ,Acceptance and Commitment, and Solution Focus. Nancy is the mother of three boys and grandmother to three grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and cooking.
